Revolution Slider Not Working in Header

I am trying to get my slider to work in the header (subheader)  of my Front Page, however I cannot seem to get it to work. I have a slider created and animated, and I have tried using short codes to make sure that the slider is in fact working. But, when I try to set the slider in a custom field for the post-slider it continually resets to "0" even though I set it to my slider name, every time I update. Am I missing something? Is this not how I set the custom slider in the Subheader?

So, I was able to fix this by forcing a refresh after I updated the custom field, and then Updated the page itself. Go figure, WP bug I guess...
