The hover color for this footer widget is taken from Betheme -> Theme options -> Colors -> Footer: Link hover color.

Is it not possible to set the style of one globally so that new ones have the same style?
Theme options are global for the entire website, so what you set it up there will affect all elements on the website unless no individual styles overwrite that.
