Thumbnail Regeneration Taking Too Long in BeTheme
Hi,
I am experiencing extremely slow thumbnail regeneration when using the built-in "Regenerate Thumbnails" option in BeTheme. Currently, the process is stuck at 14% for a long time, and it is significantly affecting my workflow as my header logo and images are all blurred right now! Which I find frustrating.
The main reason why I went after regenerating the images thumbnails is that because you basically request to regenerate it after changing the option.
When I refresh the page the process is cancelled and it restarts from the beginning until its stuck at 14 percent.

I would like to let you know that the the images aren't blurred anymore.
I just want to make sure if there is a way to check if the built-in feature process that was stuck, is complete.

Hi,
Thumbnails regeneration is related to the server speed and the number of images you have. The theme does not have an influence on that.
If the regeneration hangs, it mostly means that one of the images is corrupted, and the whole process breaks at it.
The only way to check where it hangs is to open the browser console during the process and follow the XHR notices response:

Thank you so much for clarifying this for me. As you can see on the screen the requests are still loading with 31% in progression (It did not go up for an hour, still the same).
The thing is that I only have 55 items in my media library. I'm still monitoring the progress and since I'm on a shared hosting should I upgrade my plan?

I'm still tweaking and changing the overall site and product layouts from my theme options, and I would like to know if it is critical to keep regenerating the thumbnails each time I set a layout, since the feature is requesting to do so.
