Trying to activate filter products options

edited March 20 in WooCommerce

Hello Beteam,

First of all, I have to say that I love Betheme sooooo much.

I am currently building a new website for my gf's company. I just added 3 products and I'm trying to active the products filter option, but I can't make it work, and I don't know why. I watched the "how-to-set-up-off-canvas-sidebar-for-shop" video tutorial but the problem is still the same.

The website is under maintenance at the moment but here are the logins : https://solennbijoux.com/

I also have a question regarding attributs options. On the product page side, I want the attributs to be displayed with image (cf.photo 01) but for the filters, I want to know if there is a way to display the text and not the image ?

Thank you

Romain

  • Hi,

Please do not share login credentials on the forum, as others can see them.

Anyway, you used the wrong element in the Shop template, as you used Shop, while it should contain Shop Products instead:

Please replace it, and it will work fine.

    Best regards

PS. We are happy to see that our theme suits you 😁

  • Thank you for your answer :)

It’s working now. Regarding my second question, do you have a solution for me?

Since we’ll have a lot of different gems, colors, etc., I’m looking for a better way to display the filters (see screenshot: Capture d’écran 2025-03-21 à 01.48.44). The way they appear in the shop template is great; visitors can see the available options for the product, but using the filters with all the options isn’t really user-friendly. A multiple selection dropdown list would be nice, or any other solution—please let me know if I can change that somehow.

    Best regards,

P.S. Thank you for removing the logins; I thought it was a private discussion 😂💬

  • Sorry for overlooking your second question.

You can use the Filter by Attribute widget instead and choose Display Style to dropdown.

    Best regards

  • Hello Phil,

Thank you for your reply. Works "fine" the issue is that if I'm doing it that way, then I can't apply different types of filters, I mean, attributes + price, or category + attributes + price ... The page will refresh as soon as I select any of them. Any update of product filters planed in the future ?

    Thank you again

    Have a great day :)

  • Please note that it is not our widget, but WooCommerce, and we do not have influence on its construction and functionality.

Anyway, did you try activating "Apply filters" button?

    Best regards
