Updated to v28 - pages not saving - just the spinning icon?

Hi there - just updated to v28 and went in to edit some pages and when we hit the 'UPDATE' button top right, all we get is the spinning icon and no save. Have tried several times and left it for ages.. no joy.

I have hit the 'update Be database button' and that has happened ok (as far as I can see).

WP 7.6.2.

All plugins up to day an no conflicts showing or flagging up.

    Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

    Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to the parent, and recheck it.
