Hamburger Menu stopped toggling with new theme version

Hello, I am revamping a website for a client and it has not been updated in years. When I update, the Hamburger menu stops toggling (opening). This is the original website. https://alexcastrillo.com with the older Betheme version 20.8.

Staging site link with latest Betheme version 28.0.6 https://alex.gretelvinas.com

After updating from Betheme 20.8 to 28.0.6, the hamburger menu no longer opens. I tried rebuilding it using Header Builder and the Menu Burger element, but there’s no overlay or slide option, and clicking the burger doesn’t trigger anything.

Maybe there is a simple fix to keep the custom menu working.
