text link to new page with anchor
Not sure if this is the right category, if not, let me know and I'll move it.
I've searched for anchors and I've found lots of question regarding menu links to anchors on one page sites. That works fine for me. I'm wondering if it's possible to link from a text link to a specific anchor on a new page.
Here is my example (staging) site: http://purelypacha.com/beacon. On the home page anchors work great with menu links.
But I also would like to use anchors on subpages, and not from menu links, but from text links. For example on this page: http://purelypacha.com/beacon/index.php/chiropractic/ I would like to link from the word "torticollis" (section efficacy) to an anchor #torticollis on this page: http://purelypacha.com/beacon/index.php/site-references/#torticollis. The link to page works, but it doesn't scroll to the anchor. I turned on one page for that page, but it doesn't seem to make any difference?
Am I missing something or is this not possible?
Thanks!

scroll does not work when you link to other pages because this is how browsers interpret those kind of links. And it's not because of theme but because of browsers. We were trying this in the past but we found that it's not possible.
Thanks for understanding!
