URGENT - Activating v5 Revolution Slider breaks site

Hi Support,

I have contacted ThemePunch support and have been told the problem is with BETheme.  I hope you can sort this as none of my sliders are now working as I've had to disable plugin via FTP.  Site URL: http://smarttask.co.uk

This is what I have sent to ThemePunch Support:

I have installed latest version 5.04 but if I activate using BETheme then I cannot get access to wp-admin and also my site homepage will not load. It appears to be ok with default themes.

I have to rename revslider to revsliderxxx in FTP then I can get access again but as soon as I activate Revslider in plugins then the site cannot be accessed (frontend & backend) until I rename again.

Hi Steve,
This is something that needs to be resolved on the theme side. So contact your theme's author and they can help you with an update for compatibility.

Hi,

we know about this very well but did you checked the following topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7846/revolution-slider-invisible-after-update-to-slider-5-x-version-and-wordpress-4-3 before you created own? If you want to know, it's not because of theme at all We spoke with plugin's author and it was due to the recent version of rev slider. The new version arrived today and revolution slider will be updated in package with next theme update (on Friday).

Hi 

I have tried what you suggested but as soon as I activate Slider Revolution with BETheme I can no longer access wp admin or see site (white screen). I also have the latest version (Version 5.0.4.1)

of Revolution Slider as I purchased separately from ThemePunch so I am not using the one packaged with BETheme. Slider is working with any of the default WP themes but not BETheme.

Please can you take a look, I can send you FTP and WP admin details.
