Close button in popup doesn't always work (sometimes it does)

Hi,

The close button in a popup doesn't always work. Especially when you open the popup for the first time or interact with the YT video within it: https://www.greenchoiceintegrated.nl (click on the video button at "Wij zijn Greenchoice Integrated" to see for yourself). How can we fix this?

Thanks for your reply. Apparently it isn't a caching problem. It's a javascript error. For instance, when opening the popup in an incognito browser, playing the video and then pausing it. You'll not be able to click on the exit cross. When there's no javascript event-handler that manages the closing of the modal and the standard functionality of the href= "#" link isn't prevented, it could be that the 'closing' functionality doesn't work as intended.

Anyway, tomorrow we'll debug and fix it. If this doesn't work, I'll come back to you.

This is how we solved it. Sorry it's in Dutch. Please translate yourself for the solution:

De pop-up is gefixt. Hierbij de stappen.

1. Het thema heb ik offline getrokken. Gezipped en adhv AI het gehele thema doorgelopen. Het probleem zit in het event die de knop moet sluiten. Er hoort in de footer.php een script aanwezig te zijn die niet aangeroepen wordt.
2. Custom CSS en JS plug-in geinstalleerd. Veilige plug-in (ken ik al heel lang, 600.000+ downloads ook). Dit zorgt ervoor dat mijn custom javascript niet overgeschreven wordt een een betheme functie.
3. Script gemaakt, geplaatst en aangewezen dat deze in de footer.php ingeladen moet worden.
