Help with Editing Social Icons in Action Bar and Footer

Hi BeTeam,

I’ve noticed that the action bar and footer on my site automatically display default social icons. However, I haven’t been able to locate the settings to customize or remove them. I’ve looked through the theme options and plugin settings but couldn’t find a way to change these icons.

Could you please guide me on where I can modify these social icon settings? I’d like to either update them to match my actual social profiles or remove them altogether.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards,

Neo

  • Hi,

There could be two places where it could be assigned:

    1) Betheme -> Theme options -> Social:

    2) Appearance -> Menus. There, you must find the menu that is assigned as Social Menu Top or Social Menu Bottom:

  • Hi Phil,

Thanks for your previous guidance. I’ve carefully checked all the locations you mentioned, but I’m still not seeing the same elements that appear in your screenshots.

To troubleshoot, I even reinstalled the theme completely—but the issue remains unchanged.

Could you please advise if there are other settings or steps I might have overlooked?

    Appreciate your help!

    Best regards,

    Neo

  • Hi Phil,

Thank you for your assistance. I noticed you’ve requested access to my WordPress dashboard via the contact form.

Before sharing login credentials, I’d like to ask if there’s a more secure alternative—such as guiding me through the steps, checking screenshots, or using remote support tools. I’m happy to cooperate in any way that protects site security.

Please let me know what options are available.

  • You attached the following screenshot:

Compared to what I sent you in the first message, there should be socials listed. I need to log in to check why they are not showing up for you, as most likely the socials you want to remove are taken from there. So there are no more steps I can guide you through.

Also, please note that you should create a temporary access that you can remove after we check what the reason could be.

    Thanks

  • I opened your dashboard, and the socials area appears correctly:

Please check if the same thing happens when you open it with another browser or in incognito mode.

    Thanks

  • Hi Phil,

Mystery solved—it was AdGuard playing the villain, silently blocking layout elements and social icons. Once I kicked it off the case, everything snapped back into place. Appreciate your detective backup!

    Cheers,

    Neo

  • I am glad I could help you locating the culprit.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or problems.
