Text Style, Font, Weight Changes not applying to Menu

I'm trying to build the global Header Menu using the Templates header builder. I have set the Theme Options/Fonts Size & Style/Content/Main Menu to the desired Size, Font weight & style, however these changes do not effect my header. I'm working in a private browser, have purged cash and disabled any caching plugins, I have also ensure PHP Var values are set to 10000. No matter what changes i make to the fonts style, the menu items in the header are unaffected. There are no global created styles this is a fresh install with no demos loaded. Any help would be appreciated.
