Zoom box images appear on Safari but not on Firefox or Chrome

Hello. I recently launched a website I built in Betheme to promote a book I've written. I have one page with zoom box images for book excerpts. Here is the page link:

The images appear on Safari as intended, but not on Chrome or Firefox. The rest of the website works fine on all 3 browsers.

I've attached screenshots of how this page appears on each browser.

I appreciate any help here in terms of making the site cross-compatible with all browsers. Thanks!

You used a PDF file:

Please replace it with an image format (recomended one is webp).

Thanks, I'll try that format. So a PDF will only work Safari? Just curious.

PDF should not work at all because it is not an image format. It is weird that somehow it works on Safari, and I not know the reason behind that.
