Transparent menu/header

On this site: https://pellegaard.tempurl.host/ I want the menu background to be just a transparent light overlay on top of the video background from the section below.

The body background colour seems to lie behind the header section. How do I remove that/push the section below up behind the menu (preferably globally).

I basically want the "Empty" header style but with my custom header instead.
