full width background section

I need to make a full width background section in one of my pages

I mean like in your BeMuseum theme: http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/museum/

Can I make this with Visual Composer or there is another way ?

to make full width section, please edit section item and set Full Width no margin layout style.

This only works with Muffin Builder right ?

There is no alternative way in visual composer right ?

Yes, this works with Muffin Builder only. VC plugin does not have such feature included.
