How do I add alt tag to the logo?

I added an alt tag to my logo in the Media section of the WP-Admin Dashboard. However, when I run my site through an SEO check like www.site-analyzer.com , it shows the logo as having no alt tag.

How can I add an alt tag to the logo?

Hi,

alt tag for logo is always the same as title for site. So please set title name for site and then check. But if this won't help, then please send us url to your site so we can have a look into the code.

If i want as an image alt the site's title i would fill the field from media section...

Do i have to deep inside the code to change it? no comments...

@josuemiro Like we wrote above, the alt text for logo is the same as the site title. But if you want to customize it for your needs, you must play with includes/header-top-area.php file.

AWESOME! This worked for me.  I moved the edited version of: includes/header-top-area.php to my child theme.  Worked beautifully!

To dp_organo, for me it was in line 142 in the "include-logo.php"

Did you set the alt tag for logo in Media Liberary?
WP Dashboard > Media, search for logo and check if the "alt" field is filled.

Yes, there is a text in the 'alt' field.

But still, nothing appears on th e HTML.
