Filter Forms in Section Loop

Hi,

I’ve placed a filter form element above a query loop on my event subpage. When I apply the filter, I’m redirected to the homepage, where the filter results are displayed.

Can the filter form element even be used for query loops? If so, how can I set it up so that the results are displayed on my event page instead of the home page?

  • Hey,

Please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

  • You do not have a blog page. Filters used on a regular page redirect to the archive page with the results, and when it does not exist, then the filters functionality breaks.

You must create and assign the main blog page in Settings -> Reading:

  • Thank you for the tip—that worked. I’ve now added the page as a post page under “Read.” However, the posts are now showing up twice, in addition to the section loop. How can I hide the posts at the bottom that appear automatically?

  • When the blog page is set, then it takes its layout from Betheme -> Theme options -> Blog & Portfolio -> Blog, or from Templates.

To get rid of doubled posts, edit this page, and remove the Blog element from the BeBuilder.

    Best regards
