The sizes in the subheader cannot be changed

I noticed on some pages that I’m unable to change the size of the title, and because of that the responsive design is not working properly — the word simply disappears off the edge of the smartphone screen. I already changed the size in the settings, but it doesn’t apply the changes. Is there a setting that overrides this value?
