Shortcode 'icon' doesn't appear inside in 'Column text'

Hi,

I tried to use an icon short code inside a colum like:

<p>[icon type="fas fa-check" color="#3F51B5"]  <strong>mytitle</strong></p>

But when I save the page the icon doesn't appear . The html code that is generated on ispenction is:

<i class="fas fa-check" style="color:#3F51B5" aria-hidden="true"></i>
