Portfolio - masonry minimal spacing on items load inconsistently
I have a section on my homepage where I'm using a portfolio element inside a wrap. I'm using the Masonry Minimal style. When the page loads and you scroll to the portfolio section the items are spaced with excess space that is inconsistent. If you keep your browser on that section and refresh the page they tighten up. If you resize the window, they tighten up.

All the portfolio images are currently the same size. When they were different sizes, they would overlap, and others would have too much margin.
When inspecting the element in the browser, the inspection pane forces the page to resize, and the portfolio items reshuffle and spacing is fixed.
Is this just how the browser loads this kind of responsive content or is there some tweaking in the template to fix this?
