WPBakery Plugin Version Updates

Hello,

Is BeTheme still supporting WPBakery?

It appears to be stuck on v8.7.3 (from May 2026), but 8.7.4 and 9.0.0 in July and now 9.0.1 as of 5th August has been released.

Everything seems to operate well at v8.7.3, however the persistent nag from the plugin that there is a new release available; along with their other nags; is causing older sites still running on it to appear to be out of date.

A few questions:

• Is there a commitment that BeTheme will continue to support WPBakery for a defined time period? (I don't expect this to be forever, as development should most certainly be with BeTheme, but having an idea of your official support timeline would be good)
• Do you have a timeframe you plan to work to to release updates after the official releases?
• Do you work with beta versions to have pre-release compatibility to speed up the update publishing?
• Are you able to silence the default WPBakery nags since the updates come through BeTheme?
• Are you able to disable the regular WP update route for the plugin when supplied by BeTheme? (This would avoid the endless update attempt loops to download from the plugin developer servers)

Thanks for your insight on this. This plugin is not something I have developed on for many years, but there are still many sites that use it before BeBuilder was around.
