Header Padding Issue

I am having an issue when I publish a new page or new post their is a large white gap at the top of the page between the menu and beginning of page content. Can you please take a look at the screenshot. Thanks.

I have the same issue... how can I lessen the padding to something more reasonable?

It's header background feature. If you don't want this feature, please activate "Header | Minimalist" option under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.

I activated the minimalist option (BT Options --> Header & Subheader --> Header --> Minimalist: Minimalist ON).

What did I do wrong?
