Top menu and header area question

Hi - Just purchased BeTheme and am getting the hang of it but one thing that I just can't figure out is the top header area. I am trying to add social buttons at the uppermost top right on the page and can't quite figure out how to do it. I am also trying to have the top menu area and the entire header have  an rgba with an opacity %. I guess the best way to describe what I am trying to do is by giving you a link to a screenshot.

Was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction of how I can get the BeTheme to do this... so far it is quite powerful!
Thanks in advance,
Lisa

  • Hi,

to display social icons in the right top corner, you must set social links under Theme options > Social section and also you must activate Action Bar under Theme options > Menu & Action Bar > Action Bar section.

If you will send us url to page, we'll be able to check if it's possible to add rgba color for entire header area.

hi - i asked this question quite awhile ago and wasn't able to give you a link because it was on my MAMP install. But now I have the site up and still have the same issue. Would it be possible for you to try to take a look and help me achieve what i have in the screenshot? Here is the link to the page: http://ccwomenandgirls.org/

Also the social icons in the top right corner are still not displaying, i have activated the action bar and added the links in the social section.
    thanks so much!
  • Ok. But please deactivate maintenance mode so we can have a look on it.
  • Absolutely - it is live now! thanks in advance
  • Ok, now it works. We checked your site but we are not sure about one thing - did you activated Action Bar section under Theme options > Menu & Action Bar > Action Bar section? Because for us, looks like you did not. But if you are sure that you did it, then please send us private message with access to your dashboard and we'll check all options and plugins.
