Newest Update Lost Slider on tablet

Not sure if coincidence but I lost me rev slider on a tablet seems after i did a theme update today.

Is there a new setting for this? I only have turned off for mobile in Rev slider settings?

My friend has windows tablet and said it shows. I have an ipad and just noticed this. Tried chrome and safaria 

Also noticed same on another site... 

One is using 9.4 and the other 9.6

Using child themes on both if that makes a difference

Update.. finally figured out that I have disable slider on mobile in rev slider settings Which up until recently would only disable it on mobile and not a tablet.

Not sure why this just started but I need to disable the slider on mobile only.

I know rev has a 5.0 + version out now thats more compatable with 4.3 WP

Can you guys test this out and let me know what I can do to accomplish or if you guys will release the newest rev slider udate?

In package we got latest slider version included which is 5.0.6. It's under plugins folder.

Ok I have been updating from the Evandro plugin so guess it doesn't do it from there ..

I noticed you update the functions file in child them and added a language folder

Should I be updating the child with that stuff also ?

Does this not auto update from the Evanto plugin update? And if you have to do manually does it have to be done via FTP since its packaged. Didn't see any import upgrade in the slider settings. Thanks

I updated this to the latest slider packaged with the theme but using this setting still hides the slider on a tablet and not just mobile

The Envato Toolkit plugin does not work anymore so you won't be able to update theme anymore automatically. More details about that you can read on https://github.com/envato/envato-wordpress-toolkit/issues/85

And btw yes, this option is responsible for slider on mobiles and it works on 100%.

ok, for some reason on two sites I have this setup on it also hides the slider on an Ipad and not just mobile.. Any idea what could be causing that.

Didnt know if you guys had something you had setup that could test?

Maybe you forgot to set width for mobile devices http://pasteboard.co/DjvYv7w.png ? It's necessary to define under what width slider should disappear.

I brought it all the way down to 600px which should be plenty under an ipad and it still doesn't show on the ipad that should of done the trick don't ya think?

Yes, we think. If this does not work, then please switch to default theme and check. If this happen on default theme as well, it means that something must be wrong with revolution slider.

It means that theme does not have any impact on that. Something must be wrong with latest version of Rev slider then.

For the slider not showing on tablet, they got back with me and said that if you want it to show on tablet only use the width settings and don't tick the hide on mobile box which worked

For the elements spinning out in a 360 degree turn after the update they said their is another update that should fix that Version 5.0.8.5. I tried but didn't do the trick so waiting to hear back from them on that and will post the fix here for anyone else having issues

We didn't knew that they change this feature that way and now we shouldn't tick that option if we want to display slider on tablets. Thanks for this information then.
