Updating from 8.7 to 9.6

Hi guys

I have couple of sites running on BeTheme and I'm really happy about the theme.

Now I can see updates coming regularly and I'd like to start updating the sites every time there is a new update.

Currently I'm running 8.7 and I'd like to check about the updating it.

I can see there there is no automatic update, but that we need to overwrite the old files with new ones. 

Does that mean that I need to upload each files from the betheme.zip border via FTP in order to upload the theme? That will take some time. 

Is there an easier way?

Am I safe to update directly from 8.7 to 9.6?

Did I misunderstand something? If so please let me know, I couldn't figure it out from the documentation.

Hi,

this is what you exactly need to do and this is the only and also safest way to update theme. We can't agree that this will take some time because it usually takes less than a minute.

Ok sounds good. I guess it doesn't take long if I simply copy ALL of the 9.6 files at once and overwrite the existing 8.7 files. Thanks.

Just to make sure, I' can update directly from 8.7 to 9.6?

Yes, you can of course and it won't take too much take. It usually takes about 30 seconds.
