Replace the banner in Magazine header

I'm trying to swap out the leaderboard banner  in the header files to replace with a signup form (in magazine header setting). 

I have tried changing the following in includes/header-top-area.php and includes/header-creative.php but had no success (it doesn't change anything even when i put simple text)

My text or code here

</div>

Can you point me in the right direction to what and where i need to change please so i can replace the header banner

Hi,

you don't need to modify any files. Banner can be easily changed under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Extras section.

No,  i need to drop php in there though which isn't support in the extras (same as it doesn't display shortcode) hence i want to put it directly in the files
