HI, I have been racking my brain how you do this.
In Be theme, event demo content in the home page you have section with Photos Photos Photos, the photos below i see are added in this section, but dont know where it comes from or how i can change it?
You have this Gallery shortcode

this is default wordpress gallery. Shortcodes was placed in column section but to understand how this gallery works, please look at https://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery and http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode
