Changing background image on blog page

Hi,

I set a page as my blog page under settings->read.

I would like to set the background on this blog-posts page same like I did with other pages:

- open the backend of the page

- add a section

- set an image in this section as background.

This is not working. Page is still white. On all other pages this is working.

Any idea why this is showing this unusual and strange behavior on this blog-posts page?

How to set the background on this page as a parallax image or a covering background image?

Hi,

are you talking about header background or what exactly? You mean to set header background like we did on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/blog ?

No. Not the header, I mean the page-content. Using your muffin builder.

Follow me: 

add new blank page, use muffin builder, add one section, open section settings of the just added section, find the field "background image", add an image, look at your content. You see the background image on all pages but not if you set the page as "blog-page" in wordpress settings.

How come?

Section does not work for blog page unfortunately. Blog is just simple page where posts can be displayed. If you want, you can use custom css only to set background image for whole blog page.

yes, I want to do that, Set backgrund iamge for the whole page.

We do not have this option, you can only set the bckground image globally via theme options>global>general
