Style Static not loaded from Child Theme

I have a child theme activated. Also "Style Static" is activated. Why is the "style-static.css" not loaded out of the child theme directory anymore in Version 9.7 ?

Now it is loaded out of the main theme folder, which leads to problems after an theme update, because the file is overwritten.

I renamed the theme folder from "betheme" to "five" and the "betheme-child" to "five-child"

Hi,

the only css file that child theme work with is style.css. Unfortunately child theme does not work with any other files. More details about that you can read on https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Ok but in BeTheme 7.4 after activating "Style Static" the style-static.css is loaded out of the child theme.

In the functions.php there is a parameter:

// Static CSS is placed in Child Theme directory ----------

define( 'STATIC_IN_CHILD', true );

So what's the problem if I set this true in new versions of BeTheme?

New theme is loading styles directly in header. We got a lot of customers who uses very poor hosting services and on their machines, dynamic css does not work. That's why we changed this behave and now you can see on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#static-css how exactly new css should be copied.
