Has anyone else had trouble with the page title covering the navigation menu at the top?

Here are a couple examples:

Also, is there a way to add a slider to the header of portfolio categories?

Hi,

it works like that becauase you set transparent header style. This header style was reserved for pages with sliders. If you don't use sliders on site, we recommend to use different header style. Unfortunately it is impossible to add slider to portfolio categories header.
