Can I link to a certain section on a page with Custom ID

Hi there and thanks heaps for your time

I am wondering what I need to do to link to a certain section of a page with custom ID?  I am trying to link a service button from the main page to a certain section on the services page (does that make sense lol).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I did check that out but couldn't find the info to make my link work.

I have a services page with multiple services each in it's own section with Custom ID.

I also have a services list on the home page, I am trying to link so that it will open the services page at the desired section.

I have this on another them but do not understand how this works.

I have tried /services/#section1    on the home page but it just links to the top of the services page.

Ooops.

It still is not working, I thought that had solved the issue but it did not

My links from the home page are still just opening the services page and not moving to the sections.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

Everyone says that this link should work but it doesn't:

I don't know what else to try, forums just say full URL then /#id

ACTUALLY -  I think I found the problem???

When I click the 'One Page' button to ON  for the services page, then press publish - the 'One Page' does not stay on it goes back to default OFf every time.  I have tried to create a brand new page and then switch to One Page   but it still turns off after publish

I can't get an Page Option setting to stay changed on any pages

I have never tried using the page options settings, just used the builder an it was OK.

Hmm.. I can save the builder content and edit and create new pages and templates.

It just won't save any changes to the page options on this page.  I can save the options on other pages it seems just not the services page??

I just created a new page and added the template content made some changes and still can't save any page options, builder saves fine

Yes, we understand. What you must do is increase max_input_vars variable on your server side because page options can not be saved because of limits on server side. The topic we gave you above is what you must do.
