Disco theme customization (a few questions)

Hello,

I'm trying to decipher the back end of the Disco theme using the Muffin Builder. My 2 main questions are:

How do you change the background images associated with this theme? And secondly, how do you link to the sections? Right now I see this address when I hover over a menu item (using Contact as an example):

http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/disco/#contact

Specifically, how does the # work? Thanks in advance!
