Can't change site tagline/meta description

Hi, I can't seem to get rid of the tagline/meta description that says "Your SUPER-powered WP Engine blog". I have already modified the theme options, the yoast general and social media options, the wordpress general settings, etc nothing worked and the tagline keeps appearing on Facebook whenever I enter the URL
