Fonts Broken After WordPress Update

We are using BeTheme for our website and have not had any trouble with the fonts until the recent WordPress update. It now appears that the universal font has been set to 'Times New Roman’ and there is no way to fix it.

We have attempted to use the BeTheme options with no success. Help!

  • Hi,

please send us url to page where fonts does not work and we'll have a look on it.

    Thanks!
  • Hi,

Certainly. It is http://www.icanla.net. It is actually the default font of the whole website that is not working. You can see this right on the home page if you look at the navigation bar on the left.

    Thanks!
  • Ok, thanks. We did checked your site and noticed that you are using recent WP version while you got old theme. Please update theme to latest version and styles will go back to work.
  • Thanks! It looks like it is working now.

Another question: now that we've updated the theme there are a couple drop-downs that we can't seem to hide. The first is in the actual navigation bar and has a preset value of "Splash", the other is in the top-right corner and drops down to show your contact information. This is visible to the public and we would like to hide it. Can you look into this for us?

    Thanks!
  • 1. This is WPML language switcher. You did activated it under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Extras section.

    2. This is Sliding Top feature which can be deactivated under the same section as WPML language switcher
  • The sliding top was able to be hidden. When I chose "hide" for the WPML language switcher, it does not work. Am I missing something?
  • You are saying that option HIDE can not be saved in the back-end or option can be saved but WPML does not disappear from front-end?
  • The latter. The option can save, but it doesn't disappear from the front end.
  • Please go to Appearance > Menus > Manage locations section and check if there is no menu selected for this section. Because this menu may come from that section if above option does not work.
