My sidebar widgets keep disappearing!

Help! I've added text to my custom sidebars, but they keep disappearing! Plus, there's an indication that I created the text, but I can't add it back to the sidebar.

This could happen because of special characters in sidebar names. Please notice that you can use only regular characters for sidebar names.
