Child Theme not working

  Hello Victoria,
  You have to install the Betheme theme (parent) and then the child theme. Only activate the child theme but the parent theme must stay installed. The child theme bases on the parent theme, there cannot be a child without a parent

  That's great, thanks, however, I've already done all of that. The parent theme has already been installed, it's the child theme that I can't install.

  But you just have to install the child theme like you would the normal theme. You can do it either thru wordpress or FTP. Where is the problem.

  Sorry, but you're not being a great help. I explain the problem in the original post. I have attached screenshots.
  You have obviously not read the description or looked at the screenshots. Could you please take a look now?
  In the meanwhile, I will take another look myself.

  Okay but if you have installed the parent theme and the child theme and have not changed anything then you should not even open the fucntions.php file.
  The error message clearly says that the parent theme is missing.

  Look, I know that I have to install the parent theme first. And the parent theme is already installed. It's the child theme that is not working.

   Please send us WordPress dashboardand FTP access privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users] and we will check what might be the reason.
