Can't add images to image gallery from media library

I added an image gallery from the muffin builder item list. I uploaded many images that successfully appear in the gallery. However, if I try to add more images form the media library that already exist on my site they do not appear. I have tried adding them in groups by selecting multiple images and also tried selecting just one and neither of them will appear. 

Furthermore, really strange, I completely deleted the image gallery, confirmed that it was gone from my site. Then I added a new image gallery and only selected older images that previously existed in the media library. Updated the page and the gallery appeared but only with the images that i uploaded the first time. None of the older images that i had chosen appeared. 

Again, I completely deleted the image gallery, confirmed that it was gone from my site. Then i added a new image gallery and did not choose any images whatsoever. Updated the page and once again all of the images that I had originally uploaded the first time i added the gallery were there. 

This is very strange behavior. Any explanation for this? 

I might have to use another gallery plugin which is a shame.

    Hi,

    please go to your FTP, create php file with phpinfo() function inside and send us link to that file privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users] so we can have a look on your server settings.     I'm having a very similar problem. When I try adding an Image Gallery using the Muffin Builder, I select multiple images but only one displays. I understand that I can manually add image using the Image ID and the default Wordpress Gallery shortcode, but adding images from the Media Gallery has never been an issues for me before. I've used BeTheme on dozens of sites and never come across this problem. 

    Has there been any progress on this issue? It appears that slimmyjimmy's gallery is displaying properly on the page he referenced. 

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    We have seen this bug with older versions of betheme, can you please first try to update your theme to the newest version, wordpress as well.

    Having the same problem. 
    Updated to the latest version, nothing changed.

    Please make sure that wordpress is also updated and that all plugins are disabled. It may be caused by some plugin malfunctioning.
