Hi! The question is simple - now Facebook crawler searches the meta like
<meta property="og:url" content="[Links visible only for registered users]" />
<meta property="og:type" content="article" />
<meta property="og:title" content="When Great Minds Don’t Think Alike" />
<meta property="og:description" content="How much does culture influence creative thinking?" />
<meta property="og:image" content="[Links visible only for registered users]" />
and publish the article or the page according to it. You've done og:image section - that is great! But if the SEO description is empty - the crawler takes what he wants. (SEO in Be options is empty) More over - if I fill the SEO description in the post/page after that - and examine the page with fb developer tool - it shows that the og:description is absent... (sure after crawler scrap update). Where from the descriptions are taken? Is any way to implement required meta og: to manage what FB will show?

and - sure - all news show the same behavior...
yes if it is empty then it will take what it wants, make sure to go to theme options>SEO and set all fields, they will work globally. Othwerwise you will have to use plugins like YoastSEO which give more options for such settings.

(only time to include in built translation WP standard words - Read more and Load more (posts), just tired to turn in .po and .mo files because of 2 strings)) in single language sites )
