Remove filter by Categories, tags and authors from category pages

How do I remove the Filter by - Categories, Tags and Authors from the category pages - the main one I need to remove is Authors..

Apologies... I mean the headings on the blog page.

It says:
Filter by Categories Tags Authors

With icons before each - I would like to remove this whole line please.

If you want to remove the filters, go to theme options>blog,portfolio&shop>blog
There is an option to hide filters.
