hosting

I created a wordpress site with Be-themes under local host (XAMPP) and when everything was finished I uploaded the files and database it to a hosting company.
Everything looks OK, however many items are not shown due to referrals to local host. The hosting company told me it was a problem on my local computer, more specifically with the local-build wordpress site.
I already checked may things: in the dashboard, the settings: general->permalinks. I also checked the files such as config.php. On the server of my hosting company everything is OK, no more localhost references, but it stil does not run as it should and did under the localhost XAMPP.

I thing caught my attention when I go to the admin part of my website on the server of my hosting company, in the dashboard under the Be-Themes -> system status it still shows server info : Apache. Does anybody have any clues if this is the problem, and if so how I can change this, so my website can function as it should be.
Kind regards
Petra
