Remove menu transparency

Hi, I am using the Creative Right: Always Open menu and would like to remove the transparency from it. Under Theme Options > Global > General I've unticked Header in the Transparency options, but it remains semi-transparent. In addition, while using specifically this menu, the revolution slider doesn't change the image that is sat below the menu, while it does using other menu options (see attached images x2); this won't be a problem if I can get the menu to be fully opaque, but if not it presents a larger issue.
