Related Posts - Exclude Category

In Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio, Shop > Blog > Exclude Category you provide the options to exclude a blog category from the main blog page, however, if you include 'Related Posts for single post' the related posts pull from all categories ignoring the categories that were excluded in 'Exclude Category'.

Is there a way to not display the excluded categories in related posts? That seems like it should already be setup. If I want to exclude categories from the main page, why would I want to show them in single posts?

All you can change without editing the BeTheme is these options in Theme Options > Blog, portfolio & shop > Blog

It's showing posts with category familiar or in this same category which opened post.

So it looks like another item to add to your feature request list.

How can you provide an option for users to exclude categories from the main blog only to have those excluded categories show up in the related posts?

If a category has been excluded it should not show up in related posts or show ANYWHERE on the website. I'm not sure how you can allow this or assume it's acceptable.
