static layers disappear on second slide

hello, 
i have a strange problem with a static/global layer i created (a couple arrows at the bottom of the slider to change slide) that disappear (only the left one, the right is ok) in a random pattern: sometimes it works fine, you reload the page and it disappear. If you change browser it will work sometimes and sometimes not. the page is this one: [Links visible only for registered users]
the really strange thing is that on this other slider: [Links visible only for registered users] that is built in the same way, this doesn't happen.
