Download a file after filling required fields.

I would like to set required fields before customers can download a file. So I probably need a button like "send & download", where this information from the required input fields gets send to me and also the download of the file starts on the customers side. How can I realize this?

Hi,

sorry but you cannot do that, it is too complicated and would require custom code.

You can only use the button item to make a file download after click.

oh, wow. that's very disappointing. I chosed betheme, because I thought it is possible. I didn't expected it to be that limited.

Since the most important funtions (required fields and send button) are already covered with contact form and betheme offers this download button, there must be a possibility to link both somehow. Please have another thought about it.
