  One other thing you can do is debug your website to pinpoint the exact source of your error.
  
  To do this, go to your wp-config.php file and look for this line:
  
  define('WP_DEBUG', false);
  
  Change the parameter from FALSE to TRUE and save the file.
  
  Then go back to your website and you'll be able to see what is causing the HTTP 500 error so you can fix it.

  Thank you both. I've changed the PHP version to 7.0, restored the site and disabled all plugin expect from the most important onces. 

  
  I hope this will make the site stay online.

  I tried to change the PHP version to 7.0. Update Wordpress, theme and all plugins. I deactivated most of the plugins and kept only the most necessary. 

  
  

  Now the website is down again. Still HTTP ERROR 500. 

  
  

  Any other ideas?

  Please go to your FTP, create a php file with phpinfo() function inside, wordpress admin login credentials, link to discussion and send us a link to that file privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users] so we can have a look on your server settings.
