Editing Blog Layout

HI, 

I want to edit the blog layout, specifically to turn of the link and zoom over the preview image, and re-order the post preview to have the author below the post tile.

I wanted to do this in the child theme but having a copy in the child theme (child-theme/includes/content-post.php) of the template does not work. Any help you can give (wtihout me having to edit the master theme files).

    All of the settings of blog are in Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop
    Other modifications requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact your web developer. Item Policy says:

    The modified files must be loaded in functions.php file - did you do this?
