Need help with Betheme

edited November 2018 in Theme support

Hi. Im having several problems.

1. Footer on contact us page is off. I tried disabling the facebook likebox plugin and it was still off. http://www.vikentours.no/kontakt/

2. Im trying to figure out how to have equal height items. This is pretty basic in Wordpress and I dont know why it should not be possible with your theme. Here I created a test site with random pictures. I would like them to stretch so they are all the same size. I created one section with only one wrapper and all the images placed in the one wrapper. I ticked on equal height items in wrap and aligned them to middle. But It still won't work. http://www.vikentours.no/test/

  • Hey,
    1. The footer is working fine, http://prntscr.com/lh9p0f
It is most likely your cache or one of plugins.
    2.
The equal height of wraps is used to position elements on: top, middle or bottom in wraps. In order to achieve this you need to:
    1. Edit your page, and go to the muffin builder. Edit a section and under the advanced>style select 'equal height of wraps'. See screens:

    2. Now edit each wrap in that section and set the desired vertical align(top, middle or bottom). See screens:

The footer shows different on my computer both on safari and chrome, I have deleted the cache and deactivated all plugins but it still off.

I tried your steps but I still dont get equal height.

If you check my link. There are now 3 random pictures. 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/4. The picture that is inside the 1/2 wrap is much taller than the 1/4. So the 1/4 has white space on top and bottom. I want the 1/4 pictures to stretch to the height of the 1/2 picture and crop so there is no white space. Is this not possible with your theme? Do I have to manually resize every image file before uploading to wordpress?

Edit: Even putting the same image on three different wraps and enabling equal heights doesnt make it equal height. Something is wrong. I can give you my login details so you can see yourself.

Edit: On the bottom of the page , I created a section with a 1/2 wrap with an image and another 1/2 wrap with a column of two pictures. I ticked on equal height of wraps but the column is taller than the image.

I also tried with one wrap and equal height items in wrap. Its still not working
  • Hey,

Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

    Thanks
  • Sorry but this is not possible. If you want the same image to have the same height and be half the width then it will not scale properly. It will lose it’s proportions and be disorted. Block elements such as images are not possible for such scaling effects

This option which Bryan told you, is usually used for making equal text with an image height.
    Thanks
  • Its not only images that wont scale. Check again. I created a submit form and a price list. Both are 1/2 1/2 but equal heights still wont work.

I dont understand why for instance it should not be possible to have an image and a box the same height? Or an image and two boxes on top of each other than is the same height as the image. Same should go for plugins. Every single wordpress theme I have used has this option. Maybe you misunderstood what Im trying to do? https://www.norwegian.no/ If you look at this site and scroll down to the image where it says Storbyfavoritter til superpriser. You can see an image the same height as both two boxes on top of each other next to it. That is the effect Im trying to create
  • I created you an example of how 1) "equal height wraps" and 2) "equal height items in the wrap".
    http://prntscr.com/lingbj
You can get into your website, I left it for you in the test page.

    1) Look, if you check the option, then wraps will equal their height (blue background), but content inside is untouched.

    2) Also, if you will check equal height items in a wrap(red boxes), then every column will be equal to the biggest
    column.
Of course you can align where do you want to v-align them. (top, middle, bottom).

    Cheers
