Update Failed: The package could not be installed.

Hi,

Can you please assist with this please. I am trying to update from 20.5.2 to 20.9.8.0.1 but continue to get a failed message as follows:

An error occurred while updating Betheme: The package could not be installed. The package contains no files.

System status seems OK:

Server Info Apache
MySQL Version 5.7.17
PHP Version 7.1.5
PHP Memory Limit 768 MB
PHP Time Limit 600
PHP Max Input Vars 10000
WP Max Upload Size 100 MB

Please advise?

Hey,
this message could mean that your license key is used on more than one domain.
Please use this tool to manage your license keys:

Pablo,

Thanks for your quick response. It looks like the theme is registered to the development domain and not the live domain. How can I switch that? Same seems to apply to a few other licenses I own.

If your development domain is localhost then you can use this license key there and on live domain.

Also, please deregister and register your theme, then try to update theme like 3-4 times.
