Distributors page with filter for countries

Hi,

is it possible to create a page similar to this [Links visible only for registered users] where people can select the country to show? We have a loto of distributors and this page is essential. Thank you

Hi,
You can recreate it with column item, it's just a basic HTML editor, so if you know a little bit of HTML/CSS, then it won't be a problem for you.

Also, you can create pages in all languages you want and assign them to this element.
Of course, the easiest way is using the WPML [Links visible only for registered users] plugin, but it's not free.

I know how to build the structure with columns etc., but how can I add the dropdown menu to select (filter) the country to show?

This page will be quite the same in all languages, but for sure I will use wpml for the rest of the website, thank you

Maybe create a new menu item with submenu items which will contain redirections to the country you select.

I've created the page with all the countries and a menu with jumplinks. But I didn't figure out how to insert my menu only on the body of that page, without adding anything to the general main menu.

You can create another menu for the main page.
I mean, go to Appearance > Menus and recreate your menu.
After it, please edit your main page and change to this menu in field 'Custom | Menu'

Unfortunately this doesn't work, probably because I have a split main menu.

There is the option with dropdown but only with WPML plugin.
Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Extras
[Links visible only for registered users]

But, there is no option to insert a drop-down menu in content(or subheader)
You would have to change the header style to achieve something similar as you want.

Maybe, try to use a sidebar and insert all language buttons/link there?
Theme Options > Sidebars, create there your custom sidebar and customize the content of it in the Appearance > Widgets

Do not forget to change the layout of the page with a sidebar on Theme Options > Sidebars and page(while editing)

Those are not language buttons, the wpml language buttons will be on the main menu.

Those are the buttons to choose which country to show on that specific page, in order to contact our sellers in that country. We need this filter because we have distributors in 44 different countries and it would be much easier to select the country of interest instead of scrolling down the whole page.

You should contact the support @ WPML [Links visible only for registered users]

When you bought the plugin, you also got access to WPML support. They will help you with a shortcode or some other method.

We cannot assist you with this request. The WPML integration in the theme is thru the header. Either using the top right bar or a menu item.

Sorry, but this page [Links visible only for registered users] has nothing to do with wpml, I just need to filter the sections to show on the page like on a catalogue or a portfolio with categories!

You already have that drop-down menu to show the country.

All that comes to my mind is an 'accordion' shortcode of Muffin Builder.

But, it has one problem, you cannot apply there any script with JS, because it's not loading there.

Ok, I think we misunderstood.

The page [Links visible only for registered users] is on our old website (I don't know how it was built and I don't have any access to the code).

We have to create the same page on our new website and this is our new page so far. [Links visible only for registered users] On this new page we need exactly the same drop-down menu to show the country that we had on our old website, but we don't know how to build it.

Hm,

It could be problematic, because if you want to filter it, then it has to be a blog post or portfolio item.

There is no other option in BeTheme.

You would have to create script to manage it in basic page in Wordpress, but we do not support that.

Or use a custom plugin, but we cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page, in the sidebar:

This is a problem. Do you think that in the future a plugin that can do this will be supported?

I already have a portfolio page for our wines, so the only solution is a script I guess.
