Sliding Top Removed from mobile

Can the sliding top be removed from mobile only. It covers over the action bar phone number and email. I tried this code, but doesn't work.

@media only screen and (max-width: 479px) #Sliding-top a.sliding-top-control {

display: none !important;

}

Great, Thank you! the other option I tried was to just add top padding. This allows me to keep sliding top.

@media (max-width:767px){

#Header_wrapper{

padding-top: 50px;

}
