Social Media Icons Not Showing in Header

I apologize if you have addressed this problem before, but I'm having trouble with my social media icons in the header. I'm not using a sliding header and I've set the social media info in the theme settings - they appear in the footer and on my Mobile dropdown, but I can not seem to get them to show in my header on the desktop... what am I missing?

Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot, for that use services like snag.gy or pasteboard.co

Hi there,

Thank you the action bar was not turned on, I've turned it on and the FB and Instagram links show, I don't really like the look of the action bar with this particular site though, is there an option to add the social media links to the main header bar where the search link is found?

Unfortunately, it's not possible.
I can suggest you is to change the colors of Action Bar
Theme Options > Colors > Action Bar

Also, You can use our "Muffin Header Builder" plugin, which is in late beta now.
